Military ID and Federal ID's are not valid for use as identification at this location. Even if DOB is noted on ID card//tag.

Sometimes when I am at this location I use this store and this store now tells me my federal ID cannot be used to purchase tobacco products unless approved by a manager.

And even though the manager says, "Yes I remember you," each and every time, you must produce the Federal ID for them to verify to which now, it will no longer be able to be used to verify my age, etc, even though on the ID.(Military)

I don't understand why, maybe because she says she has to fill out a special page on the computer when she's called to the front to check me out personally as I wait for 5-10 minutes while she holds my ID and waits in front of the computer?

I find this very odd, as that's not the policy at any other CVS that I have found. Especially at CVS's where they know me, which at this one, they do now, yet now I must go to the Dept of Transportation and ask for a "State ID"?

CVS.com has denied this procedure and says there is no special procedure and a federal ID is valid as well as State issued ID among others.
