Time Warner has no respect for its customer&quot; time. On 11/12 I traveled 4 1/2 hours from my home in MA to be present for the installation of a phone for my sister and her husband who are residents at the Danforth Adult Home in Hoosick Falls. I was provided with a confirmation number and told that a technician would be there from 1-5 PM. When I arrived at Danforth in Hoosick Falls, I was given a message from the Danforth business office stating that I was to call Time Warner. I learned that TW was sent to 19 Danforth Street in Portland, Maine and no one was present at that address. However, I was present at 19 Danforth St. in Hoosick Falls waiting for them!!!!! I spent many hours talking to several individuals, including 2 supervisors and got absolutely no results. TW kept insisting the apartment number I had provided for the installation did not exist. Around 6 PM, I finally told the supervisor to whom I was on line with that I had enough of their abuse and asked them to call me when they had a solution. This morning I plan to go to the TW office on Plank Rd. to pick up the black box and install the phone myself. This should be rather simple because there is already a telephone line in my sister's apartment at Danforth in Hoosick Falls. After the installation I will drive the 250 mile distance to my home in Massachusetts.<br /> It is quite obvious to me that TW does not value my time! PS, I read in this morning's Times Union that Comcast has plans to take over TW. Good luck! We have Comcast in MA and their service record is comparable to Time Warner's service record. They both stink!!!!!
