I was connected to the Comcast 800 number (not sure if this customer service provider, named Paul) was in Tucson or another location; however, service was outstanding! I was setting up an account for a condo I own in Tucson, with billing sent to me in San Francisco Bay Area. Since I'm buying a modem with wireless router included (through Best Buy), I'll just need to plug it in upon my arrival, call an activation phone number, provide the 'Mac' address on the rear of the modem, and I'm up and running! Paul was extremely helpful, courteous, and so easy to deal with. He spoke with clarity, and without a heavy southern Asian accent, and even helped update my current California account. It appears that Comcast has moved its service rep section of the business onshore.
