Original Comment My Grandmother (Rosa Wilson) worked at this store location for many, many years. I have so many fond memories, but the staircase at this location was something out of Gone With The Wind, at least to me many, many years ago. I do not remember most of the peoples names that worked there, but Ms. White was one of them I do remember. Anyway, thank you JC Penney on Jefferson Avenue for wonderful memories (circa 1970).
