Posted by HORRIBLE Management!!!

My main issue is with the manager, ARIANA ARROYO, if in fact, that is her real name.

WOW...she is extremely rude, apparently miserable, and has the WORST customer service I have EVER experienced in my entire adult life. So much that, this is my very first time rating 1 star on a business, and about a bank, for that matter. I love all the tellers here, so I kept coming back, and as stated before, they're close to my job. Well...the very last straw was my third and soon to be LAST interaction with her:

ALL of the tellers here have been pleasant, graceful, quick & responsive. As far as their mgr, it's wise that she IMMEDIATELY handle her bad days productively and professionally and not project that onto customers, or other employees for that matter. Otherwise, I'm very tempted to do what Yelper Matt G. did, and get the number of their corporate office to complain, because 3 horrible interactions with her is my limit until something needs to be done. These experiences with her were within about a 2 yr span. So...maybe I've had extremely bad luck and just so happened to catch her on her bad days?

"if i could give this place a zero i would believe me. First, the manager, Ariana Arroyo, is the biggest b*tch i have ever seen my life. The service is alright and the lines are long but my concern lies within management because that manger needs to be FIRED." - Yelper Matt G.

As harsh as the above comments MIGHT be, those are my sentiments exactly. I've been going to this bank for yrs, because it's the closest to my job. After today, I will no longer go to this branch, and keep my business at the Crenshaw location, as their mgmt service is EXCELLENT. My problem isn't so much with the waiting period at the Old Torrance location, because that's all made up for with how GREAT the tellers are (THANK YOU!!!). As this review is extremely long, I do not feel right not expressing my concerns here...

My main issue is with the manager, ARIANA ARROYO, if in fact, that is her real name. She sits front and center at the desks directly behind the teller lines, but she is not a teller.

When I was in line, she decided to walk up to a teller behind the window, and noticeably started talking negatively about me All the teller could do was look up at me and laugh, but I'm sure that was quite awkward for her, because after all, that IS her boss. So, the teller's reaction isn't my issue here. My issue is, this manager kept talking about me, kept looking up at me, laughed, then started talking about me again, then repeat. The manager's trash-talk and giggling about me was so obvious, and I had already had some past issues with her attitude, so I'm sure she doesn't favor me as a customer. In all fairness, I'm not 100% sure that it was me she was referring to, but I'm no idiot. Whatever the case, I ignored it & took it to Yelp.

My second interaction with her: The doors were about to close, and before she could lock them, I asked her politely if I could "please make a quick deposit", with the slip filled out and all. Here was her reply - "UGH, now we have to stay even LATER for this." Now, I don't even have to go into detail after you guys read that one! The most appalling thing about her response was that, if she had told me "No, I'm sorry, we're closed, please come back tomorrow", I would have completely respected that. Instead, she replies in the opposite manner, which any intuitive person would assume that she wanted me to feel guilty about letting me in. She made the CHOICE to let me in, and in no way did I pressure her to do so. I asked her once, nicely. Mind you, I responded with a "Thank you." and again, I moved on.

My very first interaction with her: They lock the doors at 6pm closing, and they have to go through the annoying task of unlocking the doors whenever their customers leave, then re-lock them until another customer leaves, so as not to be stuck with new customers after hours. It was my turn to exit, and when I noticed the door was locked, I simply glanced around to see if anyone noticed. I never spoke, or complained that I had to wait, because it takes a mere few seconds for them to unlock it. Shockingly, 'Ariana' looked at me and very sarcastically said this, "DON'T WORRY, I'M COMING, HAVE SOME PATIENCE!!" I need not comment on this poor first encounter with her, as any customer would be annoyed by this. Instead of responding, I kept quiet, as this was my very first interaction with her so I figured she just had a bad day, which we ALL have sometimes, or...gravity was weighing down on her heels and she dreaded taking that walk. Either way, she finally came to unlock the doors, and I wanted to thank her, but she had this REALLY annoyed look on her face, unlocked the door, and never said a word as I walked out. I never expect anyone to leave me with a "Have a nice night" or anything of that nature. But, like all banks, the employees usually say something positive. She said nothing. So instead of me saying thank you, I just exited the bldg, made not a peep, and moved on.
