#1: I have Humana PPO Insurance #2: LabCorp is in-network with Humana #3: Under terms of contract with Humana PPO there is no co-pay due at time of service nor at any time. Service is fully paid by Humana. #4: I was MADE to pay $19.07 at the time of my service back in May this year. They also asked for my credit card. Thankfully, I checked my credit card record and there was no charge from LabCorp on it. I was given as a receipt for cash payment a blue slip of paper showing estimated charges, also showing $19.07 as deductible/coinsurance, and copay. #5: Humana also paid this same amount. #6: In my attempt to have the amount of $19.07 which I was MADE to pay at the time of service, I have been told by Corporate there is no record of this cash payment. Mind you, I paid with a $50.00 bill receiving change back in the amount of 30.93. #7: The person at the desk was a young Afro-American with no name tag nor did she initial or sign the blue receipt. There is neither a cashier number shown on the blue receipt as is on Walmart receipts. #8: In my attempt to call LabCorp on Dowlen Rd in Beaumont, TX to obtain the name of this person, there is no answer. #9: How is a person supposed to make an appointment by phone if they do not answer. #10: I alerted Humana when I arrived home the day of this service to the fact they MADE me pay before I could receive services. And finally, #11: DO NOT USE THIS FACILITY NOR ANY OTHER LABCORP if you care to hold on to your money. Be certain you read the blogs on LabCorp web sight. They will blow your mind away.
