WARNING about the grooming salon at Barboursville location. I brought my long haired dachshund in for a full groom like always but our regular groomer had moved. So we tried a new one and it was a disaster. First of all they were majorily understaffed that Saturday. My poor dog was left under the dryer way too long she could be heard crying throughout the store. Due to the understaffing rather than get mine out they turned the dryer back on and our new groomer continued working on some yorkies. One of the yorkies got pinched while in the tub and had a mark under its chin, she did show the owner. Another lady came in furious about a scheduling mishap that messed over several customers that day. The staff there was rude and very I impersonal. My dad was with me and this was his first experience with grooming and he could not believe what happened just during our time there. Our groomer never told me about the condition of my dogs teeth or anything ( she had a dental). I was very displeased and would suggest not taking your pets there. I stayed in the store with mine and checked back periodically but feel sorry for the pets left in their care with no mommy or daddy to check often.
