Called first and asked about furniture donations. We were told okay to drop off a love seat and two bureaus. Father had just died, got 3 people to help out with moving and truck. We got there and were told only wanted the couch. The 2 bureaus were from the early 70's and were solid wood in good shape. The man that came out to meet us was very rude, and told us he did not want the bureaus. So we basically wasted our time and the people we had to help time. We had to be out of the apartment by the end of the year and so we trashed them. I will never donate to Salvation Army again. Really poor experience at this location. Every time I see people in need I would try to help them in some way, I thought that was what Salvation Army was all about. I doubt very much someone who is in dire need of furniture would care is a draw was stuck or not. Such a bad experience at the Brockton Westgate Dr. Location.
