We've eaten at this restaurant probably 20 times. A few weeks ago, we ordered three Spicy Italian subs. We ate half of our subs right away, then put the other halves on ice in a cooler in the trunk, on a day that was 60 degrees. We left them in the cooler for three hours, and during that time did not open the cooler. We never finished the second halves because all three of us had tummy troubles. We are certain it was the food from this Subway because we all ate nothing else after our subs, all had different food for breakfast and most importantly, two of us live in the same household, one lives in a different household. I saved the subs and brought them back to the restaurant that evening so they could verify we weren't simply looking for a handout. The manager, Mandy, told me she would contact the owner. I was called back a few days later and was told the owner, Tony, would do nothing. We phoned the corporate number to let them know and were told the corporation leaves all customer service to the franchisees. We simply wanted our money back or at least replacements. We won't visit this store ever again because the owner has no interest in the safety of his customers. It's not often I express negative views, because I realize everyone has bad days, and everyone is entitled to mistakes. But this time, I felt it necessary because it's food safety at stake. I provided three opportunities for this gentleman to make it right for us, and he returned with apathy. I won't eat there again because I don't want my children to get gastrointestinal cramps and gas, like we did the last time. And if you eat there, keep track of how you feel afterwards.
