I tend to go to this subway alot because I work so close to it and I've never really had a problem there, even though their food isn't the best. But today I had the WORST service I have ever had at any restaurant/fast food place. I walked in and waited for quite a while for someone to come out and assist me. The two ladies were too busy in the back talking to even realize (or care) that someone had walked in. The first girl, was okay once she finally came out but when she was going to ring me up, something went wrong with their register and it wouldn't take my card. Their system had gone down and she just kept telling the other lady that "the internet was down agian" so apparently this has happened a bit before. The other lady took forever to come out, didn't even care what was going on. Once she finally did, she tried swiping my card once. Then asked, "do you have cash?" and I answered, "no." She quickly answered in a rude way, "THEN WE CAN'T HELP YOU." stunned I was like, seriously? You make me wait for you to come out, and you only attempt once to swipe my card and thats what your going to tell me?! she had no sympathy what so ever. It was like, no trying to figure out what she could do to help a customer. Instead she takes it out on the customer because their cheap machine won't work. IT WAS RIDICULOUS! Then she just snatched the food from the counter and went to throw it away. I was so mad. I walked out and a few people walked out behind me since majority carry only their cards. You know, this establishment should really hire more eduacated people that know what to do when something goes down on their part instead of turning away paying customers. Who knows how many customers this place has lost because of their employee ESTHER.! She was so rude and that was very unacceptable. I called the corporate number to see how I could get a hold of someone over them. And even the lady on the phone was rude, just took my name and said the manager from that location would call me.....It's been about 6 hours and no one has called me back. Totally ridiculous. If they don't care about their clientele, then I'll just take my bussiness elsewhere and being that I work for a corporate company that constatly go to that location, I'll be sure to let them all know how horrible that subway is.
