I was to receive a package from Joplin, MO to Merrillville, In next day air. The driver could not find the address to delivered to so UPS look my name up in the system and tried to send the package to my address in Valparaiso, IN. I was in Merrillville waiting for the package. They made two atempts in Valparaiso. After receiving complaints from sender, without notice, they sent the package back to Merrillville while I am now waiting in Valparaiso because that is where the invoice stated that they would delivered. The transaction started on the 7th of November and is still not delivered as 11/12/12. This is a next air package where ups took upon their selves to change the address and location without notice. I also signed up to received email notices on the package and when it would arrive and never received a notice. This was a very difficult time not knowing where the package was going to be delivered. I stayed at my house in Valparaiso to only find out that the package will be delivered tomorrow 11/13/12 anywhere between 9am to 7pm in Merrillville, In. I don't know why ups kept changing the address because they did not receive to do so by the sender. This was very frustrating and a lot of wasted time on my part and I am very displeased with UPS. I will never use the service again. Who knows when I will get the package. When I called to see where the package was I spoke with a person in California which told me the package was in Hammond, IN. When I looked it up on line it showed that the package was back in Tri-City, Westville, IN. When I called Hammond, IN they said they didn't have the package. At first they told me it was in transit from Tri-City to Indianapolis, then to Hammond, In. When I question the lady on the phone why would a package go to Indianapolis, In to Hammond, In she told me differently that it was coming from Tri-City to Hammond, In. So I spoke with several people at different ups offices that could not track the package correctly. This is poor service and a shame to pay extra for next day air and still not receive the package after 6 days and who knows when I will receive it. Can't trust the staff because I already been lied to several times. I believe a full refund of the senders money should be given with some type of extra bonus to go in, not that I would use it but it is the principle of it all.
